Meet the K9 Team! 🐾

🐶 K9 Nauti is a German Shorthair Pointer currently in training to become Tybee Island’s first Police K9 specializing in Narcotics Detection and Tracking.

🚓 Ofc. Kendrick is the only certified K9 Handler & Trainer of the Tybee Island Police Department and will be responsible for K9 Nauti. Kendrick holds several certifications regarding K9 Training, Supervision and Handling. He has 6 years on-leash experience as a U.S. Army Military Working Dog Handler as well as experience as a Trainer for the Department of Defense MWD Course.

🐾 K9 Nauti is currently working on socialization and environmental basic obedience training and will soon begin detection training. If you see us working around the island, be sure to say hello! 👋
