Disney dropped a TON of Parks news Saturday night at D23! Rather than make you read a novel 😂, here are all the big announcements for Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort! 👇
🌎🏰 WALT DISNEY WORLD
💜🌈 FIGMENT & DREAMFINDER ARE BACK TOGETHER!
Disney officially announced that Journey Into Imagination at EPCOT is being reimagined, and Dreamfinder is FINALLY returning alongside Figment! 💜
👹🚪 MONSTROPOLIS BEGINS OPENING IN 2027!
Guests will start stepping into the new Monsters, Inc. land at Hollywood Studios next year! Portions of Monstropolis will open while Disney continues work on the massive Door Vault suspended coaster, which will follow later! 🎢
🎶 Randy Newman also wrote a brand new song, “Welcome to Monstropolis,” and a new theater show of the same name is coming featuring Mike and Sulley!
🌺🦋 TROPICAL AMERICAS OPENS IN 2027!
🦋 Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto will take guests through Casita and into Antonio’s rainforest room with more than 50 animal figures and Audio Animatronics! The original Madrigal cast is returning and there will be NO height requirement!
🐍🤠 Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent will bring a completely original Indy adventure to Animal Kingdom!
🤠 And yes, Harrison Ford is being used as the model for the new Indiana Jones Audio Animatronic!
🎠 El Carousel de los Animalitos will feature 22 unique animals inspired by Disney characters!
🏔️😱 THE YETI IS COMING BACK TO LIFE!
After years of the infamous “Disco Yeti,” Disney announced plans to finally restore the massive Yeti inside Expedition Everest so it can MOVE again! 🙌
🌐✨ SPACESHIP EARTH IS BEING REIMAGINED!
EPCOT’s icon is getting a new story focused on human connection while preserving its classic journey through human history and progress!
🎠✨ CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS IS GETTING A MAJOR UPDATE!
The refreshed attraction arrives in late Spring 2027! Bryan Cranston will voice John, Jamie Lee Curtis will voice Sarah, and Disney revealed a brand new 1980s scene!
And don’t worry… There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow isn’t going anywhere! 🎶
🚗🏔️ PISTON PEAK NATIONAL PARK
🏁 Cars Ridge Run Rally will send guests racing off road through mountains, rivers and geysers in the Cars version of the American wilderness!
🚙 Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin Along will be the land’s second attraction!
😈🏰 VILLAINS LAND
Disney gave us another look at the MASSIVE Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom, including the eerie Dark Forest!
The land will feature two major attractions, dining, shopping and some of Disney’s most iconic villains!
🌴🏰 DISNEYLAND RESORT
🚀✨ TOMORROWLAND IS BEING REIMAGINED!
Disney confirmed Imagineers are developing a major reimagining of Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park!

💡 A renewed focus on optimism, innovation and imagining the future
Disney hasn’t revealed the complete attraction lineup or timeline yet, but a whole new era for Tomorrowland is officially coming!
💀🌼 COCO IS FINALLY GETTING A DISNEY RIDE!
The first ever Coco attraction is coming to Disney California Adventure!
🚤 The family friendly boat ride will send guests into the Land of the Dead on a completely new adventure celebrating Miguel, Héctor, family, memories, music and Día de los Mu***os!
👨👩👧👦 And there will be NO height requirement!
🦸♂️ AVENGERS CAMPUS IS DOUBLING IN SIZE!
♾️ Avengers: Infinity Defense opens in 2028, sending guests across multiple worlds alongside the Avengers to battle Thanos!
🚀 Stark Flight Lab also opens in 2028, letting guests train with Avengers technology!
🔥 Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Anthony Mackie and Jeremy Renner are among the Marvel stars involved in the new experiences!
