Named after the feminine of George, named for King George II who signed the charter allowing James Edward Oglethorpe to bring the ship the Anne to this land to establish a buffer for South Carolina from the Spanish to the south.

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! We were not open for the holiday as a few of us went out to play, but things will be returning to normal, and our ghost tour will be available soon.
