In most cases I’ll suggest an on site hotel but there are some trips that are more suited to staying off site

If you’re huge Harry Potter fans Secret Wizard Headquarters is a fantastic option for an immersive Harry Potter experience.

Pair a stay there with multi day tickets to Universal booked through me and you can still get early park admission too

Multigenerational families or larger groups with multiple families paying for the trip may find it more cost efficient to stay off site

But don’t forget staying on site at Universal gives you benefits like early park admission, consistent and convenient shuttle transportation to the parks, and other perks like charging to your room, express passes (for select hotels), and sending merchandise to your hotel as well

Breakfast with the Grinch may not be your family’s cup of tea and that’s okay!

It is however a great way to meet him without the enormous lines that will certainly be in the parks so if meeting the Grinch is a priority for your family you should consider this reservation or a holiday tour.

Epic Universe and Universal Orlando in Florida is truly incredible.

Each land is completely immersive making you feel like you’re living some of your favorite stories.

10/10 recommend swimming with pigs at Pearl Island

I almost got talked out of this excursion by a random couple at the bar the night before, but I’m so glad the employee at the shore excursion desk convinced me to keep this reservation.

We had a blast and the baby pig was worth the whole thing, but feeding the big pigs also caused lots of squealing and giggling and the kids had so much fun.

Get a travel agent that’s actually traveling so they can give you first hand experience on the things you might be interested in too!

I learned a lot on this Royal Caribbean sailing over the summer for our own family and for my clients.
