Something that you guys never get to see! 👀

If you are up on the catwalk, you can see some of the original top curtains from when we remodeled in 1952!
The 2nd picture is from 1952 shortly after we reopened from the national theater catalog!

The curtains are now hidden, since we added a lighted boarder around the opening of the stage.

Our spirits asked what a sneeze was during an Estes Method in the dressing room!
Turns out they were just testing our hearing apparently.. 😂

Anyone know this Gentleman? 👀
Lets get into one of my all time favorite discoveries of The Savannah Theatre.

This Gentleman is Charles Crisp, known mostly for being our 33rd speaker of the house of Representatives!
Growing up in Savannah GA, Charles and his family especially his parents were heavy into theatre.

While his family lived here in Savannah they helped take care and preformed at the Savannah theatre religiously, what is even cooler is that Charles and his family lived in what is now the projection room! (Think of it like a old apartment)
We still have old plumbing you can see next time you book with us! 👀

So could we be talking to Charles or some of his family up in the projection room? And not just George! 👻
