MSC Cruises is bringing one of its biggest and most advanced ships yet to Florida⦠and bookings are already open.
MSC World Atlantic will officially homeport at Port Canaveral starting November 13, 2027, sailing year-round Caribbean itineraries. (Fun fact: Drew Barrymore helped MSC kick off the ship's sales launch!)
π’ DEPLOYMENT & ITINERARIES
As the fourth ship in MSC's mega World Class series, World Atlantic will offer alternating week-long Caribbean sailings:
π΄ Eastern Caribbean: Grand Turk (Turks & Caicos), Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), Nassau, and MSC's private island β Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve (Bahamas)
π΄ Western Caribbean: Cozumel and Costa Maya (Mexico), plus Nassau and Ocean Cay
π΄ Extended Voyages: 14-night back-to-back cruises that combine both routes into one continuous vacation
β ABOUT THE SHIP
The LNG-powered megaship spans more than 400,000 square feet across seven onboard districts, holds over 6,700 guests at max capacity, and blends MSC's signature European style with American comfort. Standout features include:
πΆ Viva La Musica β a brand-new Latin-themed lounge with live music, salsa dancing, and handcrafted cocktails
π³ The Clubhouse β a retro-styled family hangout with bumper cars, roller skating, basketball, a LEGO zone, and a soda bar
π Cliffhanger β the industry-first overwater swing that lifts riders about 160 feet (50 meters) above the open ocean
π§ The Harbour β a huge outdoor family adventure zone with a water park, splash zones, and high ropes courses
Plus 40+ bars, restaurants, and lounges, the two-deck Panorama Lounge, and the MSC Aurea Spa with one of the largest thermal areas in the fleet.
This marks a major deepening of MSC's commitment to the U.S. market β and another huge win for Port Canaveral, already the busiest cruise port in the world.
Itineraries and cabins are open for booking now through MSC's official website.
So we have to ask π
Would you sail on MSC World Atlantic out of Port Canaveral in 2027 β and would YOU be brave enough to ride the Cliffhanger swing? π
