Hello all!! As you can see, it's been a year since my last post so I wanted to address the lack of activity.

Interesting design details from a walk around Bethany yesterday, including a beach front pull-up bar - which I definitely used. I love the mix of silvered out cedar, stucco, copper, and old t1-11 and how they all play off each other. Going to do a few more walks through Bethany and Rehoboth soon, so leave a few cool places in the comments!

Wanna see a little behind the scenes? Seems like a good day for an impromptu vendor appreciation day! These days are hard work. We walk a line between professional and personal that blurs in and out on an hourly basis. Sometimes we’re hired professionals, sometimes we’re just friends celebrating together. It’s a crazy life and on a cold February day, I’m really excited for April to come and to start seeing some of my friends again.

First wedding of 2025 with a family I’ve really come to love. It was the smallest wedding I’ve shot in a while. It doesn’t have to a big to-do to be beautiful and meaningful. Grateful to start the year this year. It’s gonna be a good one.

For no reason at all, last night I scrolled through my own wedding photos. All the sudden it’s been 12-1/2 years and everyone in these photos is older, grayer, and some have passed on. Some I still talk to near daily, some I haven’t seen in years. Some are on the other side of the world, some are on the other side of town. I love them all just the same as I did back then. Your wedding is a moment in time but time marches on whether you like it or not.

I photographed an ongoing construction project for . In another life I spent a lot of times on construction sites and as time has gone (after my own projects on my own home) on I’ve really come to appreciate this part of a job. Hands full of dirt, head full of stress. There’s nothing like the moment a project starts to look like it did on paper, but in real life. You see the way the light falls on the walls and the vision is becoming reality. Then you snap back to reality and realize there’s still a long way up the mountain. Look forward to see this one completed.

Thrashers, Frank & Louie’s, Kohrs, Zelkeys Arcade, and Salero. Maybe the single most Rehoboth Beach wedding of all time. Soaked up the last bits of summer even though fall is here. One of my favorites of the year!

I LOVE that film has made a comeback in 2024. I love to see all my friends using it and making beautiful stuff. I’m glad it’s not the ONLY format I have, but I cannot wait to get a few of these in the darkroom and get them printed. Here’s a few from a few weeks ago that I absolutely love.

When I look at these photos all I see is the purest expression of family. A growing family. A loving family. A family celebrating life’s biggest wins. A family that has trusted me with 3 weddings now and I’m forever grateful for the Thunes!

Here’s a few gems from the final pass of this wedding. I love these little moments that happen in between the big ones. They’re things you never realize the significance of until much later in life. Sometimes I want to put these in a time capsule and give them to the couple in 20 years.
