A couple of you ask me to share some additional photos of Greenland and the Northeast Greenland National Park. One thing to note about the park ~ access to the park is highly regulated and restricted to ships that are considered ice breakers. Every ship must have a permit to enter. So, if you ever want to take an expedition cruise like this you need to plan ahead.

In coordination with , will revoke U.S. passports of those who owe significant child support debt.

Anyone owing child support debt should arrange payment now with the relevant state child support enforcement agency to prevent passport revocation.

If outside the U.S. when their passport is revoked, individuals with significant debt will be eligible ONLY for a limited validity passport for direct return to the United States. Learn more at travel.state.gov/childsupport.

While traisping from fjord to fjord in Northeast Greenland National Park, the expedition team encouraged us to participate in the iNaturalist program. iNaturalist is the free and widely used non-profit citizen science program that invites the public to submit photos while traveling to help scientists to identify, track, and document plants, animals, and fungi. I took A LOT of photos of tiny mosses and flowers, etc. In addition, I discovered an interest in geology after I viewed the mountains and listened the expedition geologists.

Back in August 2024, I took my hubby on a birthday expedition cruise to Iceland and Greenland on the Seabourn Venture.

I just found out that Seabourn discontinued the submersible program due to high regulations and high cost for the one hour dive. (I totally agree. It was very expensive.) Glad Mason and I went before the program was halted.

When I visited New Zealand, I flew on multiple Air New Zealand flights and truly loved them. For those of you who think flying for 10-12 hours is unthinkable, look at Air New Zealand’s Sky Couch in the economy seat section of the airplane.

Pretty enticing when you think of the space you would have to stretch out and watch movies!

If money were no object, where would you go on your next vacation? This year I'm heading to the Caribbean island of Curacao, ruggedly beautiful Scotland, and the always exotic Morocco... and, I'm not telling my hubby this, but if I have a chance to go back to New Zealand, I'm getting on the plane, no question asked :)
