We had a great day riding on the , which runs along . The trail is named after Sam Story, also named Timpoochee Kinnard. He was Chief of the Walton County, Florida, band of Euchee (Yuchi) Indians in the early 19th century, who occupied the lands on and to the west of the Choctawhatchee River.
And, we picked up a grasshopper hitch hiker for a few miles.

Here is a beautiful, hidden gem tucked away among beautiful scrub oak trees. The Rosewalk is named after Daryl Rose Davis,wife of Robert Davis, the founder of Seaside. In the early years of Seaside, the developers tried to maximize the opportunity for social integration. Within The Rosewalk,they created community elements.These elements were tiny and budget wise inexpensive. But they created set things like a small whirlpool bath, a chess board pavillion, and a little library that had about 35 books. Sadly, those features did not thrive, and they were shut down. But through the beautiful walkway, are still the structures that are used today to sit and relax and take in the beauty of The Rosewalk and Seaside.
