A N T E L O P E 🏜 C A N Y O N • when you take a vacation from vacation. Every first week of March finds me in Vegas for super rendezvous USA Sevens rugby tournament. I hate getting tied down to one place so I found myself road tripping in the wilderness of Nevada, Utah and Arizona deserts.
On this occasion, I set to accomplish two things. Cross off Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend off bucket list. And sure did we !! Getting a tour guide of Antelope Canyon was by shear luck. .We checked into our hotel on the eve to only learn that one needed to have booked or made reservation to Antelope Canyon. On the tour day we made several trips to various tour companies in Page city. And by luck, one tour company agrees to put us on a standby wait list just in case visitors who had reservations missed or canceled their appointments. Anyway, long story shot, we paid $45.00 cash per person as cash is the only form payment accepted. And yay! I experienced the wonders of nature inside the Antelope Canyon. !!
