🚨 TRAVEL NEWS: Say Goodbye to Bags Fly Free 🧳✈️
Starting May 28, Southwest Airlines is officially joining the bag fee club. That’s right! After years of being the go-to for free checked bags, the airline is making big changes:
🔹 Checked Bag Fees:
– $35 for the 1st bag
– $45 for the 2nd
(Effective on flights booked or voluntarily changed on/after May 28)
🔹 Who still gets a free bag?
– Rapid Rewards A-List members
– Southwest credit card holders
– Business Select & A-List Preferred passengers
🟡 New “Basic” fare is also rolling out, replacing “Wanna Get Away.”
🟡 Flight credits? Now they expire after 1 year.
