Update: Hey everyone, we will not be operating out of Starcke Park this weekend after all.

We were hit was some bad energy this week:

1. Seguin Parks and Rec and insurance issue.
2. My fiancé got in a car wreck and we are down to one vehicle, so she’ll be using the truck this weekend
3. My roof replacement got rescheduled until Monday and now I have to stand guard for the weekend to make sure roofing material stays secured 😁🥲😔😂
4. My kayak trailer is being utilized by a non profit I volunteer with for a few weeks until their trailer gets fixed. We had to move their kayaks over onto my trailer .

But if you absolutely need to get on the water , feel free to message, email, or text and you can schedule a pick up.

Yall come on out to Max Starcke Park this weekend. Everything should be green to go. Saturday and Sunday. I will try to be set up by 2pm (Hopefully 1pm). I’ll be a single operation for a while so bear with me with waiver and equipment agreements.

My apologies for the later start. I’ll be on baby duty until noon 😂😁. But if you do want to get on the water sooner just shoot me an email or text and I can have something ready for you to pick up at my house. I’ll be renting out paddle boards only and a few recreational kayaks. The fishing kayaks will be unavailable for a while since they are a lot heavier to transport and move by myself .

Quick update: unfortunately we hit a snag with our insurance policy. We are continuing to workshop the policy. I really wanted operations to begin this weekend. I know yall have been patient. Hopefully, this is resolved asap.

Today I took an Intro to River Kayaking class with Combat Kayak instruction and the instructors really set the standard. Although, I have been doing this for well over a decade, I felt as if I was brand new to paddle sports. I learned so much today and added new tools to my arsenal. If you want quality instruction and a phenomenal time please reach out to them. I hope that I will be able to offer services to this caliber when I start operations (pending insurance approval 😁). Please give combat kayak instruction a follow and show some love.

Hey yall. For those paddlers interested in put in and take out points along the San Marcos river, please check out this video put on by the good people TG Canoe & Kayak. I will post another video in the comments that shows you the route from City in San Marcos, TX down to Scout Camp.

My personal favorite route is from Rio Vista Park to Scull Rd.
