Explore Fukui, Japan, with me in Episode 3 of the 47 Prefecture Challenge. I came for Seidaiji Temple and the Echizen Great Buddha—but Katsuyama Castle turned out to be a surprise I hadn’t planned on.

From rice fields and samurai armor to local Echizen oroshi soba and a sunset, I’m spending a full day finding out what Fukui has to offer. Then I score the experiences, food, and how easily you can reach the attractions to see where Fukui lands alongside Tokyo and Wakayama.

New video coming out later today

Fukui Prefecture video featuring Seidai-ji Temple, Echizen Daibutsu and Katsuyama Castle. This will be video 3 in the 47 prefecture challenge series. It's taken me 4 weeks to finish this video with all the other projects I've been working on, the new app, and the website redesign. With 2 major hurdles finished I can focus more on the videos so they should start coming a little more frequently.
