Happy summer! We have decided to cancel the Garden Party for this coming weekend. Although the gardens look great we have just run out of time. I will miss visiting with everyone. Thank you 🌸🦋🐝

This is exciting news! One of my tagged monarch butterflies made it from our Sharpsville garden to El Rosario Sanctuary, Mexico!! It was a male butterfly, hoping his great grandchildren will return to our garden. 🦋🌸 I started tagging in 2017.

Update! The Summer Garden Party is postponed for now. Maybe try for July 11-12. Mike has had some health issues and although he is improving we are so behind.

Late summer garden stroll, feels more like fall! This was the summer to embrace Chaos Gardening. Lots of bees, butterflies and birds have enjoyed all the flowers. The spring started out with lots of rain then very little. We are really dry, huge cracks in the garden. My days are spent with studio work, gardening and of course dragging the garden hose! So happy the swallowtail and monarch butterflies are abundant this year.
