Where in the World is Norah?

Norah spent the last two weeks in Italy, France and Spain for a Virgin Voyages Cruise.

She flew to Venice and did Liberia Acqua Alta (steps made out of books), Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo (palace with spiral staircase), Rialto Bridge, Murano Island-known for glass making, Burano Island-known for lace making, Doge Palace, St. Mark’s Square, St. Marks Basilica, a Gondola ride, and the Bridge of Sighs.

She took a train to Rome, and did a golf cart tour, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Vatican city-Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Peter’s Square, Trastevere and the Piazza Trilussa-viral for its lively night life, Roman Forum/Palatine Hill, Colosseum, Largo di Torre Argentina-sight of Julius Caesar’s assassination and now a cat sanctuary.

Next, she got on the Virgin Voyage Cruise.

In Amalfi Coast they went to Salerno, Amalfi and Positano by a land and sea excursion with a scenic coast line and time to stop and shop.

In Cannes, France, they went on a tour to Eze and Monaco. Eze is a small village in the mountains with no cars. In Monaco, they saw the Formula 1 race set up, Palace of Prince Rainier and Princess Grace Kelly, and the Cathedral of our Lady Immaculate-wedding place of Prince Rainier and Princess Grace, also burial site of both.

Next stop was Ibiza where they went Lio for a Dinner show, Hi Ibiza Night Club, and spent the next day at Nikki Beach Club.

Norah and her family loved Virgin Voyages. The food and entertainment are top tier. They loved the Scarlet Night party and the Let’s Sail Party on the first day.

They disembarked in Barcelona where they saw the Arc De Triomphe, Montjuïc, Poble Espanyol with ‘umbrella street’, Tuk tuk ride, Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Flamenco dance show, Gothic Quarter, Park Guell and Sagrada Família.
