EXCITING NEWS!

At their regular membership meeting this morning, the Greater Waverly Kiwanis Club announced they will be donating $55,000 towards the scoreboard project at Cedar River Park’s Baja Ballfields in Waverly. This major investment, along with a contribution from the WSRBBSB club and labor donations from Tatroe Electric and Waverly Utilities, will allow for the installation of scoreboards at each of the CRP baseball and softball fields, including the Premier Field.

Our club wishes to thank all Kiwanian members involved in this contribution, especially Dave Litterer and Chuck Brittain, for their leadership in getting this project done. We can't wait to see the new scoreboards up at the park next spring!

Representatives from the WSRBBSB Club and the city of Waverly, along with members of the Waverly Kiwanis Club, are pictured during the check presentation this morning.
