Attention Vendors!

We're going to keep the application open through this week (deadline March 21) and then we will be reaching out to those who have been selected next week. Still looking especially for vendors who offer an experience such as balloon animals, face painting, etc. Apply here ->

Event date: June 21-22, 2024. Location: Sikeston Rodeo Grounds, 1220 N. Ingram Rd. Vendors are required to provide their own setup (tables, chairs, tent). Festival schedule: Friday - 4:00-9:30pm Tethered Ballon Rides begin at 6:30. 7pm Balloon Flight, and 8:30pm Balloon Glow followed by Live Music.....

Hello Festival friends! We wanted to share an important update about this year’s Sikeston Hot Air Balloon Festival. We will be focusing 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘀/𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 and handling any festival merchandise in-house.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀. This was not an easy decision, and we want to sincerely thank all of our past craft vendors for being part of the festival.

We understand this may be disappointing and we appreciate your understanding. For those interested in food truck opportunities, applications will open next week.

We’re so grateful for everyone who has been part of the festival and hope you will come out and enjoy this event!

All hot air balloon flights are canceled for this morning (Sunday) due to wind speeds that will create dangerous conditions for balloon flights.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but feel very fortunate that the weather worked out for the majority of our festival!

If you are looking for something fun and unique to do while you're in town for the Hot Air Balloon Festival this morning and looking for something fun to do then look no more! At 10am stop by the Sikeston Public Library and learn about rodeo events, the significance of cowboy attire, the origins of rodeo, and the Jaycee's exciting mutton bustin' competition. The Library is located at 121 E North St in Historic Downtown Sikeston! If you'd like to read more about the Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo be sure to check out sikestonrodeo.com for one of the BIGGEST charitable events that draws crowds from almost every state!

Get ready to search the skies! Preparations have begun for a flight over Sikeston!

Balloons are launching from multiple points in town, all plan to land at the rodeo grounds. You can head there to watch, but PLEASE leave an open area for landing and only park in the area nearest the building that says "home of the Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo" or near the ticket office!
