What a busy week/weekend for RushOur Travelers, including the original RushOur Traveler, yours truly! Since the travel industry is all about people and building relationships, I traveled to the KHM Travel Group (my host agency) Luxury Symposium and Destination Success in Cleveland, Ohio, this past week to learn, connect, reconnect, with fellow travel advisors and SO many suppliers, some of them new to me. With a musical theme for the week (since we were in the home of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame), we had theme days of country music, rock & roll, and pop/R & B days. It was a fun, educational, and rewarding 4 days in a new city and state (for me) and on a Great Lake (Erie) I had not seen before. (Note to self: packing cowboy boots in a carry-on is not a good idea!)
Next, a group of three ladies left Friday night headed for France and Italy. Paris, Positano, Florence, and Rome will be their destinations, and we have collaborated on enough activities to keep them as busy as they want to be during this amazing journey! Bonus: one of the moms has a daughter completing a study abroad in Rome, so she will join them there!)
Two more RushOur Travelers set sail yesterday on the Regal Princess for a Caribbean cruise, made even more special since a June cruise was postponed due to a medical condition the husband suffered just days before departing. YAY for travel insurance!
And, last but not least, my favorite family (other than my own) of 10 are getting ready to board the fabulous Royal Caribbean Star of the Seas in just a few hours for an amazing 7 night Caribbean cruise. The Seafood Extravaganza today in the Windjammer may never be the same! (IYKYK).
As always, my hope and prayer is that all of these wonderful clients have a trip of a lifetime, and that they come home ready to start planning their next adventure with me! My gratitude to and for all of my RushOur Travelers is immeasurable.
