Sadly this will be my final post to this page as I sold my LoLiner yesterday. I have offered the page to the new owners if they would like to continue to share but this is my final share as an Aristocrat owner. We have owned 2 mid 60's LoLiners over the past 15 years and had only fun travels and experiences. Scroll down to see them all which is exactly why I created this page originally. Memories. We only sold because we have converted our van into a camper and with no kids it is a better option for us as we approach 60 years old. It was an awesome feeling to sell our trailer to a young couple that had the same level of excitement for this trailer as we did when we became the owners. Safe and fun Travels Kyle and Tania!

Due to the rigors of everyday life it’s been a few months since we have been able to get our LoLiner on the road. This trip was full of 1st’s for us. We decided to to try for the first time the remote beach campground about an hour north of Santa Barbara called Jalama. We reserved site 77. After settling into our space we decided to walk over to the Jalama Grill to try the World Famous Jalama Burger. It did not disappoint and we throughly enjoyed them. We had read stories
about how brutal the wind and sand can be and they were all true. Because the wind was so strong we decided to not set up our awning. We still has stellar sunsets, nice neighbors and a really fun 2 nights. On our drive back down south we decided to try the very popular Rincon Parkway campground right on the ocean. We easily reserved spot 80. Set up our camp and rode our Schwinn Beach Cruisers almost 10 miles into Carpinteria where we had a tasty beer and burger at the Rincon Brewery. We enjoyed another beautiful sunset and some red wine. In the morning we rode 6
more miles before packing up
and heading home. We hope to return to both campgrounds and I’m hoping to figure our a solar / battery solution we never have to start up the generator.

We had another blast at our favorite campground Hearst San Simeon State Park. No cell phone service or hook ups, clean restrooms with showers and close enough to hear the waves crashing as you fall asleep. $35 a night.

We always seem to end up in space 65 at San Simeon State Park. It’s 3 hours from our house, quiet, right near the waves, off the grid and beautiful. This trip we rode our tandem bike 20 miles and then took one of our Vespas several miles inland for a really remote and beautiful scoot. We will be back!

We’ve been on a roll and for the 3rd straight time went back to our current favorite campground at San Simeon Creek State Park. We ended up in the best spot! Space C65 which is really private and close enough to the beach to hear the crashing waves all night. We are getting pretty good at camping without power, water or internet and at this particular campground we don’t even have cell phone service which enables us to really relax. We always stop on the way up at Bob's Well Bread Bakery, Artisanal Breads in Los Alamos for the best European style baguette sandwiches. On day 2 we decided to ride our tandem road bike and we did a solid 22 mile pedal and ended up at the Hearst Ranch Winery tasting room near the San Simeon pier. We downed a bottle of tasty Cab and pedaled back for some BBQ and camp fire. On the drive home we pulled into the vista point north of Santa Barbara and made a killer lunch with ocean view! It all ended so soon so we’re already planning our next adventure.

We just returned from another fun adventure in our 1969 LoLiner. We’ve gone to San Simeon State Park the last few times because it’s only a 3 hour drive from home, it’s only 3 miles from the small town of Cambria, it’s right near the ocean and inexpensive. $35 a night. No hook ups but clean restrooms. We always stop in Los Alamos for Bob's Well Bread Bakery, Artisanal Breads.
We also like it because we usually put our Vespa in the Van and venture north up Hwy 1 which is some of the best roads to travel on 2 wheels in the country. We made it all the way up to Lucia and stopped at Mill Creek picnic area and had lunch literally right on the beach. We also stopped and enjoyed a cold beer at Ragged point.
On the way home we stopped in Solvang to visit a shop we like called Pacific Northwest Trading Co. and picked up a new Pendleton for the upcoming winter season. All in all another really fun 2 night trip. We will be back soon!(space c62 is amazing)

We just returned for 2 nice nights up at San Simeon State Park. Space C82. $35 a night, no hook ups or cell service just the way we like it. Only 3 hours north of our house in Simi Valley and only 3 miles north of the little town of Cambria. Here are some pics. Our trailer worked nice and we even got to try out the makeshift privacy screen we made. It didn’t give much privacy but it fit nicely on the front of our awning. We have a Friend in Morro Bay and we stopped on the way home for a quick visit.
They just reopened Hwy 1 and we drove up to Kirk Creek Campground and hope to Camp up there next time.
