The new hire comes to Juno Beach from Sanibel Island. The move is a step toward returning turtles to the center's tanks and rehabilitation hospital.

From the City of Riviera Beach:
In the interest of safety for our community and workforce due to the uncertain weather forecast, the City will shutter operations tomorrow.
The closures are as follows:

City Library - Closed All Day;

Barracuda Bay - Closed All Day;

Riviera Beach Municipal Beach - Will be Shut Down/Closed beginning today and we reopen when the weather clears. Date and time to be determined.

There will be no waste collection tomorrow for the City because of the impending storm. This decision was made based on the closure of the solid waste authority facility in Palm Beach County.
