One of my favorite things about homeschooling is that learning doesn't have to stay inside four walls.

History becomes more meaningful when you can walk the streets where it happened, stand in the places you've read about, and experience it with your own eyes.

I'm a wife, homeschool mom of a large family, and someone who loves exploring the incredible world our Creator made.

I understand firsthand that planning travel for larger families isn't always simple. Finding accommodations that fit everyone, coordinating schedules, staying within budget, and making sure the trip works for the whole family can feel overwhelming.

As a homeschool mom, I've learned that some of the most meaningful lessons don't happen at a desk.

They happen while exploring a historic town, standing at the edge of the ocean, walking through a museum, visiting a national park, or experiencing God's incredible creation firsthand.

Travel has a unique way of bringing learning to life. Geography becomes real. History comes alive. Science can be seen and experienced. And the memories made together as a family often last far longer than any worksheet ever could.

Not always!

Many closed-loop cruises (departing and returning to the same U.S. port) can be taken with other approved documents instead.

While I always recommend getting a passport when possible, not having one doesn't necessarily mean you have to put your vacation plans on hold.
