HobbyTrax is a company whose sole purpose is to design hobby tools for modelers like you. Our tools are not only designed and manufactured by us, we use them on our projects. All of our tools have been painstakingly researched for historical accuracy. All
measurements are compiled and put into the latest CAD software, which generates a 3D model. Drawings are then extracted from the 3D model. All
of our models and drawings are thoroughly checked and verified for accuracy. Once this is done we send the electronic file to our manufacturing site. All of our tools are manufactured using the latest high speed water jet CNC machining. This process keeps all of our tools from being subjected to caustic chemicals, which could potentially have a negative impact on our environment. The high speed ensures that inventories can be maintained or accelerated at the flip of a switch. Material selection for our tools was not an accident. The use of aluminum offers excellent thermal properties when it comes to forming some of the new vinyls used in “rubber band tracks”. This material can be used with all paints and modelers cements. Being aluminum your tool will look as good as the day you bought it. Aluminum is also lightweight which reduces shipping costs.
