The beginning...Restoration of the classic 17 foot mako from 1976. The winter and early spring of the year that was the corona virus pandemic was for me spending long nights after work and weekends recoring a rotted out balsa cored deck. Then the winter of 2021 was spent remaking a new fuel coffin floor and replacing the fuel tank underneath. Along the way raised cleats were replaced with flush cleats and a new minn kota trolling motor was mounted on the bow to make it into a comfortable boat to fly fish from.
