Hi friends. Katy here,
It’s been a while since we last posted anything fun. And you’ll have to wait just a bit more for a fun post, because, spoiler, I want to share a little of our lives lately.
This week, we memorialized and celebrated Gary’s beloved Auntie who passed suddenly and shockingly two weeks ago. She lived admirably, and loved everyone.
She was also set to go on a three week RV adventure to the American Southwest with her husband and Gary’s dad in August. We were really proud to be a part of planning this trip for them. And though it’s now been scrapped for this year, the intention of going is still inspiring!
One simply cannot know when their last trip will be the last; yes we all know this platitude.
But yet, as a (still very green ) travel advisor, I am convicted by this simple statement about the fleeting lives we actually live. I find myself so much more intent on seeing as much of the world’s beauty and amusements as I can get together. Bucket lists upon bucket lists…and so many people to talk to about these adventures!
Don’t wait. Get on out there.
And with that we want to add that we wish this for anyone else who wants to see the big, wide world.
