Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and assisting daily non-production and support operations of the company.

Job Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain shop supplies and shop inventory
• Maintain and manage grinding and support machinery PM schedule
• Maintain and manage subcontracting of mechanical systems (heat, plumbing, electric, etc.)
• Perform custodial duties
• Coordinate and assist the maintenance of company vehicles
• Coordinate and assist snow removal and landscape subcontractors as necessary
• Operate manlift/forklift and set up and keep track of employee training
• Maintaining and updating SDS

In this position you will manufacture and resharpen industrial cutting tools by using all your mechanical knowledge and resources from a variety of prior experiences.

Technologies you will learn and use:
- 5-axis CNC grinding (Anca / Walters).
- Offline CAD/CAM programming and tool simulation .
- Visual and mechanical tool inspection.
- 5-axis CNC Zoller tool inspection.
- Manual grinding and inspection.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of cutting tools (Endmills, Drills, Reamers, Step Drills, Ballnose, Tapered, Form tools)
- General math background
- Mechanical or manufacturing background or experience (internships considered)
- Must be computer literate (Windows environment)
- Drafting or Auto Cad a plus
