Took a little stroll around Burgess Falls State Park yesterday. Picked up some trash along the way and enjoyed seeing some changing of the leaf colors finally! 🍁 🍂 Beautiful sunny day for a walk ♥️ Are you seeing fall colors where you are?!?

Friday after went spent all afternoon picking up trash to and from Burgess we packed up at the launch and started to head out. A nice couple from Michigan was unloading by the water and just flagged us down for directions to Burgess. It was around 5 pm then and we gave them all the info; plus you know how Eddie can talk so by the time they were done talking we had invited ourselves along. 🤭🤣 We gave them our kayaks because the borrowed ones they had were terrible kayaks lol and gave them a quick kayak lesson. We hit the water and made it to Burgess just before the sun went down. Then we hiked back in the dark and used our phone lights to light the kayaks on the way back. It was a beautiful, clear night with a bright moon 🌕 in the sky! Not a cloud in sight! Although it was chilly 🥶 it was worth every second and hopefully the couple we took out made so fantastic memories ♥️

Augustus the Duck has made a friend ♥️ I was worried after we had finished the season that he would be all alone but we went out to Burgess yesterday and there they were. Hanging out and diving around the water together. Augustus spent nearly a month swimming next to our groups as we paddled by this year!
