Francis is still a Kangadoodle, but he is learning patience as seen here. He got me away from the computer for a much needed mental health break. The pond is an incredible nature stress reliever to have here in the backyard of the sanctuary

Memorial Day can be complicated.

As a veteran, I know this day carries pride, grief, gratitude, memories, and sometimes emotions that are difficult to put into words.

Today I’m thinking less about noise and more about peace.

Peace was always the goal.
Peace is what people sacrificed for.

At Sisu Sanctuary, we hope to create spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, heal, and remember that rest is important too.

Today, I hope people can hold onto the love, laughter, and meaningful moments they shared with those they miss.

Remember the peace, not only the pain. 🇺🇸
