Let me start by saying we had an amazing time in Alaska! It misted the few minutes we were in Whittier boarding our ship but the rest of the time it was sunny and beautiful 60-78 degrees! Unfortunately we did all get sick. Ethan was the worse with a fever. Poor kiddo. We had to buy lots of cold and flu products. The worst was $25.00 for Musinex in Skagway. Ugh 😩.
So here goes..Would I recommend Princess Cruise line for the trip. I would definitely recommend them for the land portion of our trip. The McKinley and Denali Lodges were amazing! We loved the scenery , hikes, food, and relaxing atmosphere. The Coral Princess ship on the other hand had terrible customer service, terrible food at the buffet for all meals, a ship that needs refurbished bad, and a room that was not worth the money we paid. I honestly think I would only recommend Princess for the Lodges and to get up closer to the glaciers. That’s it! I will never recommend the Coral Princess because I would want my clients to have a better experience than my family’s.
