🌊☀️ DAY 2 — At Sea

Sea days on the Disney Destiny are honestly my favorite kind of busy. 🌊✨

I started the morning slowly — coffee in hand, just watching the ocean (I saw the Disney Dream). No rushing. No schedule. Just that peaceful “we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be” feeling.

From there the day just unfolded. We explored more of the ship and really took our time popping into spaces we hadn’t seen yet. The Haunted Mansion Parlor was even better than I imagined — the details, the mood, the subtle nods 👻. De Vil’s had such a fun, stylish energy, and Cask & Cannon quickly became one of those “let’s just sit here for a minute” spots.

I even joined a bracelet-making activity, which turned into one of those unexpectedly sweet little memories. It’s funny how the simple things sometimes stand out the most.

The kids were fully living their best lives in the clubs (they truly did not want to leave 😆), which gave me a little time to slip into Quiet Cove and just breathe. That balance — family fun + actual relaxation — is why I love Disney cruises so much.

Dinner that night was at Pride Lands, and walking in felt special. The atmosphere was warm and beautiful, and by now our servers already knew our preferences. There’s something so comforting about that consistency while still experiencing something new each night.

Sea days don’t sound exciting on paper.
But onboard? They’re magic. 💙

BOARDING DAY and she is stunning. 🖤✨

Walking up to the Disney Destiny, I immediately felt how different this ship is. The bold heroes-and-villains theme gives it this dramatic, elevated energy that sets the tone before you even step onboard.

Check-in had a tiny hiccup (travel tip from experience: always put AirTags in your luggage 👏), and for a brief moment I felt that “please let this work out” stress. But Disney handled it quickly, calmly, and professionally. Within minutes, we were back to full excitement mode.

And then… they announced our family name.

We grabbed lunch, explored the pool deck, and then did what I always tell my clients to do first — explore the ship! We wandered through lounges, checked out the kids’ spaces, peeked into shops, and just soaked in all the details. Every corner of this ship feels intentional.

Of course, we headed to our stateroom shortly after. Split bathrooms will forever be my favorite Disney cruise feature 🙌 It makes getting ready for dinner so much easier.

That sail away moment? Never gets old. Standing on deck as we pulled away, music playing, everyone waving… that “we’re officially on vacation” feeling hits every single time. 🌊

Our first rotational dining night was at the Marvel-themed restaurant — and it did not disappoint. The immersive atmosphere, interactive elements, and energy in the room were so much fun. And meeting our serving team, William and Kenneth, set the tone for the entire cruise. By the end of dinner, we already knew we were in good hands. Disney service truly is unmatched.

✨🚢 I’m Back — And Ready to Share ALL About the Disney Destiny 🚢✨

Now that I’m home, unpacked, recovered from sickness 😅 — I’m so excited to finally share everything about our sailing on the Disney Destiny and what our day-to-day actually looked like onboard.

I know I had mentioned I’d be sharing everything live while we were cruising…

But at the last minute, I made a different decision.

I decided to log out of social media, put my phone down, and fully soak in that time with my family. 💙

And honestly? It was the best decision.

There is something really special about being completely present — watching sail away without filming it, enjoying dinner without notifications, staying up late for deck parties without thinking about posting.
