We can’t stop thinking about Montenegro and Albania. Two absolutely gorgeous countries in Europe that still seem relatively untouched by tourism compared to Western Europe.

If you’re looking for a place that has incredible people, gorgeous beaches and hikes, waterfalls (that we recommend you chase!), and sunsets that could compete with Greece, you need to add Montenegro and Albania to your list.

This week, we got to explore the TWA Hotel at JFK airport.

What. An. Experience.

The hotel, which opened in 2019, was the head house of the TWA Flight Center designed by architect Eero Saarinen in 1962.

All the details in the hotel are based on the original design of the Flight Center to keep the original 1960s vibe, including 486 window panels, custom ceramic floor tiles, walnut furniture, rotary phones, and its signature red carpets.

If you’re transiting through JFK and need a place to sleep for the night, we highly recommend this unique hotel, as there is truly nothing like it.
