🚢 DCL term, decoded: What does “guaranteed stateroom” mean?

It doesn’t mean you get to pick a specific cabin. You choose a stateroom category—like Inside, Oceanview, or Verandah—and Disney Cruise Line selects the room for you later.

That can work well if you’re flexible about where your cabin is. But if you have your heart set on a certain deck, location, or nearby rooms for your group, choosing a specific stateroom may be a better fit.

And check the details of the particular offer: “guaranteed with restrictions” fares can have extra terms, such as payment and cancellation rules.
