With embark -- a hygiene kit- packing, life-giving, encouragement- card -making, and dream -sanctuary -building, golden autumn afternoon of a Sunday. These girls ( and others) made dream soup with me, lined the trees with those dreams, and helped find the Squirrel King's hidden acorns.

Last week we painted the rat royal family, came up with characters and scenes, danced, drew, and found images that we liked.

This week we will make some small set pieces and create so many scenes!

A bit of brilliance from one of my McSwain kids -- the best way to to make a miniature ruin is to build a candy house and eat the candy, just a bit at a time.
So Look for candy ruins around town in the next couple of months.

Well, Chaucer has invited us back! He's been lonely this week and has an especially interesting story to tell us about Jack. In his circling and swooping flights over the Alleghanies he has seen Jack wrassling bears and out-tricking unicorns. Come hear tell of young Jack's many feats! 3:00 pm, Barrister Books.
