This is my favorite kind of slate stone. It's from Brazil and has some dazzling colors and patterns in it. I took two sets of pictures to show it before and after the color enhancing sealer. There is also a natural-look sealer that can be used if that is the preferred look instead of the slight sheen and darkening effect of the color enhancer. The wall base is custom bullnose.

There is a 52 inch long drain hidden in the grout joints of the 4x8 tiles along the wall. Those tiles are removable for cleaning.

This turned out very nice. I like that the entry is far enough from the wet area that they don't need a door or curtain.

It will get dark wood trim between the tile and ceiling before it is done. Looks like real slate but it is actually porcelain.
