Accurate life update summary:

Wrapping up the work week from the bathtub because a child needs to p**p and wants the dog nearby but the dog is basically glued to my ankles and so to make the work and child gods happy here we are.

Ways I’ve been hugging myself lately:

- Wearing my super cozy robe
- Upgrading my slippers
- Meditating daily with
- Saying no to things I don’t want or need to do
- Having boundaries at work
- Walking through the falling leaves in my backyard just to walk
- Binge listening to as we all await her new Midnights drop
- Extended hugs with Mike
- Cozying up to read with the kids (and now Em is starting to read to me!)
- Not signing up for PTO things in this season
- Letting myself be sad that we aren’t traveling right now
- Inviting friends to hang out without overthinking or complicating it
- Making brunch foods

I’ve been working with some cutting clients and friends on big life decisions and this has been a common pattern.

This is the same brain pattern that Mike and I worked hard to cultivate while on the road and used to drive the changes in our lives recently.

When you start to focus on the energy and the experience, the logistics feel a lot less stressful. You realize that nothing has to be permanent except for living with your self and the energy and experience you create.

my hope is that this helps someone else going through decisions or reflections.

And if you’re in the space and feel like you could use some individual support, let’s talk about different forms of coaching and what that can be like for you.

Grew the family. Didn’t have to grow this one inside of me so that’s already a win.
