15,120 lbs of squash later, we finished this year’s HPS Day of Service at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley! That’s 720 boxes of winter squash assortments going directly to the community on Thanksgiving Day.

Gifts delivered, wishes fulfilled!✨ Continuing a long tradition of giving, HPS contributed to the Family Giving Tree 2023 Holiday Wish Drive by hosting our own drive—in person and online. Each wish we fulfilled is connected to an actual child, senior, or homeless adult in the Bay Area.

We are grateful for this opportunity to personally and positively influence the lives of those in our community who need the extra lift, especially during the holidays.

HPS helped sort and box 39,000 lbs of produce during our annual Community Day of Service
at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley! All the produce we packed will be delivered to over 1,500 families tonight and tomorrow just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Together we can make a difference.

GETTING TO ZERO: SUSTAINABLE HEALTHCARE
Wednesday, August 31- 4-6pm

This course takes on the perception that sustainable, net-zero designs cannot be implemented in healthcare projects. It also proves that higher performance doesn’t have to mean higher cost.

Using a case study of the first net zero medical office building as a reference, this course highlights design strategies that can be used in healthcare applications to improve the performance of buildings. It identifies some of the unique challenges of healthcare projects from a sustainability standpoint and proposes options to resolve these.
