My final thoughts? Overall, I thought this happy hour was really good! From the price point to the meal, location, and overall vibes, I would say it was worth it. Sometimes happy hour can be hit or miss, but this one checked most the boxes for me.

Happy Hour Menu
Per usual, happy hour menu options are a little limited, I went with a classic burger and fries. Honestly it was a good burger, but what really stood out to me was the house-made sauce that came with the fries. Listen… I was putting it on the burger too.

I made it to Happy Hour!
I had an Aperol Spritz , I believe this was blood orange one. Low-key, Aperols have turned into my summer drink lately. They are light, refreshing, and definitely giving Euro summer vibes.

An Aperol Spritz by the beach just feels right.

First thing first… a mini get ready with me as I keep it cute and natural. I threw my hair in a ponytail, added a little lip balm, one of my favorite summer beach fragrances, and of course had to let those summer freckles pop.

In my opinion….no need to do too much, when the beach is the backdrop besides it too hot for make up 🤷🏾‍♀️

Beach views, good vibes, and a little happy hour situation sounds like a perfect way to spend an evening.

Stay tuned for the food, drinks, and whether this spot was actually worth it!

Linda Lately Update…

As you can probably see and as mentioned, I’ve been shadow banned.
Like literally put my posts at the bottom of the pile and said, “Good luck finding an audience now” Meta really tried it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

But it’s all good.

I’m not going to continue letting algorithms and low reach discourage me from continuing to show up. Sometimes the journey gets frustrating, which I’m familiar and aware of….. after all it’s how I started.

And to those of you who are still here, still watching, liking, commenting, and supporting, thank you.

This is a bump in the road… not the end of the road.

Meta may have put me at the bottom of the pile, God never will. All things will work out for my good.

Welcome September 🍂🍁

The last quarter of the year…..Whew,how did we get here already?

I’m so over the summer heat, I will definitely be appreciating when the temperature drops. Also I love seeing and feeling the change in the season.

My big question is… am I doing pumpkin spice anything this season? I was so sick of pumpkin spice last year that I may need to sit this one out. We shall see….

Anywho, September got a lot going on ….Labor Day, football is back, and New York Fashion Week kicks off, Fall t.v. shows line up etc. So there’s definitely a lot to look forward too.

My word for September is renewal. Time to reset, refocus, also release what no longer serves me. Looking forward to fresh energy.

Another Matcha Monday

Another Monday, another matcha adventure!

This time, it’s a cute Turkish spot known for its specialty coffees and chai teas.

I was offered a complimentary taste of their hot chai… it was really good! Rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. I can definitely see myself coming back when the temps drop to have a cup. The last thing I wanted was a hot drink in this heat. So naturally, I opted for an iced matcha instead. It’s not what they are known for, but I digress……

The shop itself was super cute too. The aesthetics were definitely giving cozy, stylish café vibes, and good service. They had plenty of drink selections, so there is definitely something for coffee lovers and tea drinkers alike.

What caught my attention though, was the Moroccan tea. Which they are also known for. It’s been on my list to try so stay tuned.

Who remembers the show Baywatch?
The lifeguards here look just like they stepped off the set!

There were a couple of days when we weren’t allowed in the water because of dangerous rip currents, and this lifeguard was not having it! He was running back and forth along the beach telling people to get out of the water.

I was thinking, Sir, you need a bullhorn, I know he was tired after his shift.

Definitely giving Baywatch vibes, minus the running in slow motion

Their beaches is absolutely picturesque, it just gives post card, and it’s peaceful and just beautiful being there.

The West Coast beaches hit different. I like the surfer vibes. Low key, back in the day, I had biggest crush on them from watching all the shows and movies.

I also think they are extremely brave and talented to be going up against the waves. Getting all that salt water in their face. And getting up on that surf board.
