Welcome, we are Lorraine and Dan Coe and since 2015, we retired early and have been wandering the world traveling and experiencing local cultures near and far. We never set out to be at the center of a movement, a new way to experience life, travel, and everything this crazy journey called life h

as to offer. But our friends and family and their friends and family started to follow us, ask us questions about traveling, and much to our surprise, we were motivating people to get moving, stop waiting, and start traveling. Travel Localite was born! What is a Travel Localite? We believe:

* The point of the journey is not to arrive.
* We would rather have the most stories than the most things.
* Invest in experiences, rather than things.
* Everything is walking distance if you have the time.
