So, what’s everyone doing on Saturday, October 18?
We know where we’ll be— hanging out in our Echoes of the Floating World gallery, enjoying the art while getting tattooed by either , , or , then popping over to our classroom for an art class about painting in contrasts with local comic artist, . We’re bringing our Tacoma friends, too, because it’s free all day at the museum if you have a Tacoma id. Also, did we mention we’re celebrating our birthday this month? We’re 90 years young 💅 . We can’t say there won’t be cake. Are you still reading?? Good! Go mark those calendars 🗓️.

Historic Homes of Tacoma Tour
Volunteer Docents Needed!

Tacoma Historical Society is delighted to bring back our Historic Homes of Tacoma Tour this year. Please save the date for the weekend of May 3-4, and learn more about the event here: https://tacomahistory.org/hometour

In the meantime, we are asking for anyone interested in serving as a docent to please contact our board president, Jim Catalinich, via email: [email protected]. Volunteer docents are critical to helping the event run smoothly.

We will have three homes on the tour this year which have not been on the tour previously. We are excited to invite our community to explore the history contained in these beautiful homes.
