About the Tart

The Crafty Tart is a homage to my roller derby name, The Tell-Tale Tart. When I played roller derby, the girls were always getting bumps and bruises at the skating rink. Some friends and I would make the ice packs with covers to keep in the rink freezer for unexpected injuries. We realized they were a hit when the visiting teams asked us to make ice packs for them to take back home. My ice packs with covers have been given as gifts for friends recovering from injuries, have been ordered by doctor's offices in large quantities to ensure a clean, professional appearance when ice packs are needed for patient visits, and have even been ordered by people who just want a little something for themselves.
