The last few days have been epic for topwater strikes! The amount of big "toilet flushes" we've watched destroy ploppers and spooks is insane. Easily have watched 100 explosions this week alone. If you know that sound you know you hear it in your dreams. The surface bite is on fire and if you want in on the action NOW is the time! Several openings next week DM me to get out.

Boated 3 in 1, on the 5th cast of the day on a Shane's Baits 5th element A rig en route to almost 75 fish boated on the day. With close to 50-ish on the afternoon trip alone lapping the morning trip 2.5x over with the heavier morning winds laying down. When I say there's probably not a better time to book, this is it! Don't wait I've got several openings next 2 weeks.

Boat/motor are almost like new with barely 25 hrs on the motor and features the hunter camo color. This is my 2nd rig and really need to go a different route for back up boat. Just a few pics from last few days on the water. Bigger fish have been harder to find with colder mornings dropping temps a few degrees but still managing several in the 2-4 pounds range and multiple "pounders" not making the photo cut. Staying busy and bent is the name of the game!

Last fish landed in the last minutes to close out the week. It was tougher overall as the water temps dropped 8 degrees into the mid 50s 😲. They bit in flurries throughout the day. And just when you got on several bites in a row and began to think they were getting ready to chomp the bite would slow again. Grinding a few here and there seemed to be the pattern with the matching up and down weather. Fish are sluggish, and waiting on the next warm up as are most Floridians 😂. Gorgeous post hurricane weather on today's trip with one of my favorite customers and his 3 generations of Hammers! Randy is the epitome of an outdoorsman and teaching all his boys on the water to follow in his footsteps. The young buck Wesley led all anglers and didn't need any help at all. Getting kids hooked on fishing are some of my favorite moments as a guide even though you take one to the head every now and again 😂. Thanks Moon clan can't wait until next time!

Double booked again today and after a grinder of a morning in crazy heavy winds and boating only around 10. The wind settled and we went to work on the 2nd trip. What an epic afternoon with a long time customer. I told him to keep a certain bait in his hand based on earlier conditions and man did he go to work! After boating 1/2 a dozen or so bucks, he landed his personal best just over 5 #. Not 5 min later he landed it's matching pair. And not 20 mins later he jumped off another as big or bigger. He was on cloud nine! Sometimes you have to play the conditions you're dealt. And with the wind making it tougher we hunkered down and picked it apart. And what an afternoon it was! Making adjustments is part of the game and I closed out a wild windy day strong! Bass Soldiers!!

Absolute Godzilla session on today's double booked outing. The fish were smashing surface baits all day between both trips and landed multiple over 4.5 #. With a 7 being the biggest landed today by yours truly. When you try to show your customers how to do it and in just a few casts boat a 7, they quickly regain confidence to do as you suggest 😂. Fully booked until early April. It's on like Donkey Kong!

Didn't quite hit 80 today but definitely close to 75 on back to back half day trips. Didn't shoot pics all day but got a few of my top producer from the afternoon session. He boated the most of everyone today and the biggest from both groups. The guys in the morning set the bar though, as far as total catch, hitting around 40. And to top it off on the very last cast of the day, I boated a beast pushing 7 #. Wow, did she strip drag and put a hurt on my already exhausted arms. But I wouldn't want it any other way. Slinging, swinging, running and gunning. That's the BassSoldiers motto. Tight lines everyone.
