Here's a travel secret most people don't know: the window right after Memorial Day is one of the best times to book fall travel.

Summer is here, everyone's attention is on July and August, and fall sailings and resort packages are available with great pricing before demand spikes.

What I'm watching right now for fall 2026:

🌴Caribbean cruises in September/October are the best time for lower prices AND fewer crowds. Some of the best cruise deals of the year.

🎃 Disney World in October is the sweet spot before holiday crowds. Crowds are manageable, the weather is perfect, and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening.

🛳️ I also have a great deal on an MSC Alaska cruise at the end of August, early September, after the summer crowds dwindle, before the end of the season.

One thing to know about us, if you don't already, is that we LOVE to read. While I do spend a lot of time working when we travel, I also make sure to take some time for a good book. Since that is such a big part of how we vacation, we have started incorporating that into our photos. No standard poses for us 🤣

This is probably the most important thing I can tell you, and I'm surprised how many people don't know it.

Using me as your travel advisor costs you exactly nothing.

Not a dollar. Not a planning fee. Nothing.

Off the ship and back to having to do laundry, make my own bed, cook my own meals, wash my own dishes. . . 🙄. It was a good week, though. Beautiful weather. Fun ship. Amazing crew. 10/10 would do again (obviously).
