🚨 Big Changes Coming to Walt Disney World's Carousel of Progress! 🚨

There's a great big, beautiful tomorrow ahead for this beloved Magic Kingdom classic! 🌟A fan favorite for decades, this ride is getting the updates it deserves

Disney Imagineers have announced an exciting reimagining of Carousel of Progress, featuring:
✨ A brand-new opening scene featuring Walt Disney himself through Audio-Animatronics technology
🌙 New decades throughout the attraction, including the 1960s moon landing, the 1980s, and New Year's Eve 1999
🚀 A reimagined future scene set in a home beyond Earth
🎵 Fresh storytelling while honoring the attraction's rich history and iconic Sherman Brothers song

To make way for these updates, Carousel of Progress will temporarily close on July 6, 2026, and is expected to reopen in 2027.

This exciting refresh will introduce a whole new generation to Walt's vision of innovation, optimism, and family while preserving the heart of this Disney favorite. ❤️🏰
