• Stand about 3 to 5 feet from the mirror.
• Hold your phone at chest level, slightly off to one side.
• Turn your body 45 degrees instead of facing straight forward.
• Take one slow step forward like you are walking into the photo.
• Keep your chin slightly down and your eyes relaxed.
• Tap your face on the screen to lock focus.
• Lower the exposure just a little so the photo looks rich, not washed out.
• Take 5 to 7 shots and pick the one where your step looks natural.
