We had the honor of hosting the legendary bass fisherman, Hank Parker and his granddaughter, SaraBeth, last night! 🎣 Not only is he a fishing icon, but he also has a huge heart. Every year, Hank takes a child with a terminal or life threatening illness out on Lake Hartwell as part of his support for The Outdoor Dream Foundation. We’re so thankful for all he does to make a difference in these kids’ lives. 💙

About us

Hello! We are Don and Deanna Burns from the Double Springs Community in Townville, SC. Construction of Cast-A-Way Cabins began in July 2018. Don had an awesome idea for property that we have located near Broyles Landing on Lake Hartwell in Townville, SC - cabins with boat/truck storage facilities.

A lot of fishermen from out of town have to stay in local hotels, which are around 10 miles away, and have to lug all of their gear into the hotel room to prevent theft. At Cast-A-Way Cabins, the fisherman will be able to keep his boat or truck stored in a locked storage facility overnight.

After a long day of fishing, who wants to drive 10 miles to a hotel just to rest when Cast-A-Way Cabins is right around the corner? Broyle’s Landing is just 1/4 mile way and Green Pond Landing is just 5.2 miles away.

Both of our cabins provide a kitchen area with a full size refrigerator, sink, microwave and toaster oven, den area with full size sofa, full bathroom with shower, Cable TV, WIFI. Our smaller cabin has a bedroom with a double bed and single bunk. The larger cabin
