We have TWO exciting things to celebrate this week! 🎉

First: Farms of the Brave® is now a federally registered servicemark. That little ® is more than a symbol—it's recognition that what we've built is real, distinctive, and worth protecting. A servicemark for a service: connecting veteran farmers to each other, to their communities, and to the people who want to support them. From a dream to a brand. From a brand to a movement.

Second: We just welcomed our 50th certified veteran farm into the Farms of the Brave® network. 🌱

Fifty farms. Fifty veteran and military families who made the bet on the land. Fifty operations spread across South Carolina and beyond—raising livestock, growing crops, building agritourism destinations, feeding their communities, and proving every single day that the skills forged in uniform translate to something extraordinary when you put them to work in the soil.

We started this because we believed veteran farmers deserved a network, a brand, and a community that understood them. Farm 50 tells us we were right.

To every farm in our network: you are the reason this exists. Thank you for trusting us with your story.

The best is still ahead. 🐾🌿

Great spending time at D & S Plantation and learning about their mission of conservation, sustainability, and community engagement through agriculture. Built by veterans committed to serving others, this operation is making an impact in the community. 🌾🇺🇸

Proud to visit this Farms of the Brave certified veteran-owned operation founded by veterans with more than 60 years of combined military service. South Carolina agriculture needs executive leadership that supports our farmers and producers.

Great visiting Morning Glory Homestead and hearing from veteran Tony Jones about the story behind this incredible family-run farm. What started as a homestead for their family has grown into a business built on hard work, faith, and a passion for agriculture.

This farm is recognized as a certified Farms of the Brave operation — celebrating veteran-led farms and connecting communities through agriculture and agritourism experiences. 🌾🇺🇸

That's a wrap on the inaugural Farms of the Brave Ag+Art Tour—and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. 🌱🎨

Over 4 days, 14 veteran farms opened their gates. Vendors set up in the rain and stayed. And 500 of you showed up—some driving hours, some discovering veteran agriculture for the first time, all of you choosing to spend part of your Memorial Day weekend on the land with the people who grow your food.

That means everything to us.

This tour was never just about farm visits. It was about connection—to the land, to the hands that work it, to the stories that live here. From Gullah history on St. Helena Island to heritage breeds in the Upstate, from Lowcountry fields to Midlands pastures, you met the faces behind veteran agriculture in South Carolina.

To our farms: thank you for your trust. Opening your gates to strangers takes courage, and you did it with generosity and grace.

To our vendors: you stood in the rain. That says everything.

To our visitors: you showed up. Year one is real because of you.

See you next year. 🐾🌿

There is nothing like a day on the farm in the Lowcountry to lower your blood pressure! There’s something special about the live oaks and Spanish moss. So, it was a great way to conclude an amazing four day tour! Thank you to all who came out and joined us! We can’t wait for next year and we will have a stern chat with the weatherman to order better weather!
