* Kayak couple trip with choice of 2 or 4 hour kayak trip down lookout mountain creek- (5 miles away ) includes: 2 kayaks, 2 paddles, 2 life jackets, snacks & drinking spring water, cooler, waterproof bag for phone. (everything you need). Drop off & pick up available $80 for couple.
* Grill package- Includes 2 ribeye steak, 2 veggie packs, corn on Cobb, choice of 2 baked or sweet potatoes, garlic parm bread. All seasoned and ready to be cooked on propane grill with cooking instructions. Plus Sour cream, butter, steak sauce condiments all will be ready to grill DiY upon your arrival.

🌿 Our Story: How Among the Trees Came to Life

In October 2022, we bought 8 acres of wooded land in Trenton, Georgia - with no electricity, no water, and no real plan... just a vision.

We moved our fifth-wheel camper onto the land and started living completely off-grid: hauling spring water, using a generator, and learning as we went. At night, we’d sit outside listening to the creek and watching deer wander through the trees. Slowly, the idea began to form: what if we could create a place here for others to disconnect too? To trade noise for stillness? To reconnect… with nature, and with each other?
That’s when Among the Trees was born.

We started dreaming about glamping. We researched everything from Native tipi construction to sustainable off-grid living. We hand-built the tipi from trees on our own land, stitched the canvas with help from family, and stained every post by hand. We built the outdoor bathhouse and installed the whirlpool bath. We picked up cozy little touches: candles, s’mores kits, coffee fixings, and a hammock for two - until the space finally felt ready to share.

In August 2024, we opened our first listing - and to our surprise, we were booked every single weekend during our open season. We love creating a space for reconnection and stillness, and we also offer local tours and adventures. Hearing about our guests’ experiences is what keeps our hearts full.

Today, Among the Trees is a romantic glamping retreat designed just for couples. We currently have two glamping sites available for rental: The Tipi Among the Trees and the camper, named Somethin' Soulful.

Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, planning a weekend away, or just need to unplug and be together, this is your place.
