A couple weeks ago we had a girls get away to check out a new resort. We went to the Adults only Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya. We send a lot of people there and they have loved it so of course I had to check it out myself 😁
The thing that stood out the most to me was the service and cleanliness. The staff was absolutely amazing and the grounds are very well kept. The resort is small but lots of things to do, great bars and entertainment as well.
The breakfast was soooo good! The taco bar was delicious and we ate our weight in fresh chips and guacamole. Dinners were good but not the best. We preferred the lunch spots or casual dining places more than the fancier restaurants.
The only downfall that could be a deal breaker for some is that there is no beach. Honestly we had such a wonderful time that we never left the resort to visit the near by beaches!
This resort has a great price point and I would absolutely return!

P.S. Tell your kids you are so thoughtful and will do them a favor. Tell them you already know what you want next year so they don’t have to come up with ideas on their own…You would like a spa day…on a cruise 🚢🥂🙋🏻‍♀️😊

Travel tip Tuesday is here again!
Airlines are constantly changing their policies, so it is always good to keep up to date with baggage rules, cancellation policies, and needed travel documents. Southwest is making some big changes moving forward. In the third quarter of 2025 they will have bundle options for assigned seating and luggage. Also, anything you book after May 27th of this year they will no longer guarantee free bags. It will depend on what rate you choose and your status with them etc.
So, if you are planning on flying Southwest in the near future and haven't booked your trip now is the time to do it! If you need some assistance, we are happy to help with all your travel needs!
