This bicycling event starts TODAY! 🚲 Be aware, be supportive and be safe as these bicyclists enjoy the beautiful area we call home.

🚴 THE ENDLESS MOUNTAINS GRAND DEPART STARTS TOMORROW! 🚴

Nearly 70 cyclists from across the United States and Canada are coming together to take on the Endless Mountains 430, EM 250, or EM 115 bikepacking routes. What an incredible adventure through our region!

The riders will begin at 7 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, September 12. You can follow their progress live here:

As these cyclists travel our local roads, please help us give them a warm Bradford County welcome!

🚗 Slow down, give riders plenty of room, and pass safely.

👏 Cheer them on when you see them!

Mark your calendars…..STEM is back at The Allen F. Pierce Free Library! These are a great way for the kids to have some fun while learning.

🎉STEM is back! Starting on Wednesday, September 16th, the library will feature a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) event every third Wednesday of the month throughout the school year for elementary and middle grade students.

Our first project gives the students the opportunity to be a part of something BIG! We will celebrate America's 250 Anniversary as we participate in the My America tile project. This project includes school age children from across the USA, the goal being a GIANT QUILT. 110,632 fabric squares have been requested and sent out. Or library has received some of these red and white squares to be decorated.

Start thinking about what you might draw or write. What do you love about your country? What makes you proud to be an American? What birthday message would you write? What hopes do you have for America?

The squares will be sent to Boston to become part of a HUGE quilt which will be revealed in December. We will also be learning some origami - how to fold paper into a 5 pointed star AND there will be a snack! Join us on September 16 beginning at 3:15.
