⚠️ Reminder: Starting tomorrow, Feb. 1, 2026, travelers without a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification will be required to use TSA ConfirmID if they still want to fly. The $45 process includes additional screening and may require 30 extra minutes at TSA.

Acceptable forms of ID at TSA checkpoints:

✅ REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or state photo ID
✅ State-issued Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL) or Enhanced ID (EID)
✅ U.S. passport
✅ U.S. passport card
✅ DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)
✅ U.S. Department of Defense ID, including dependent IDs
✅ Permanent resident card
✅ Border crossing card
✅ Federally recognized Tribal Nation or Indian Tribe photo ID, including Enhanced Tribal Cards (ETCs)
✅ HSPD-12 PIV card
✅ Foreign government-issued passport
✅ Canadian provincial driver’s license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada card
✅ Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
✅ USCIS Employment Authorization Card (I-766)
✅ U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential
✅ Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)

Temporary driver’s licenses are not accepted. Check your ID before traveling to avoid delays at the checkpoint.

HUGE CONCERN FOR THE CARIBBEAN
Latest estimates throw down between 20 and 30" of rain from Melissa...Jamaica, the DR and Eastern Cuba will get absolutely crushed with rain in the coming days. There will likely be a significant loss of live as a result...especially in those mountainaous regions. I said it earlier in the week and I'll re-state it: This will, by far, be the most impactful storm of this year.

The National Hurricane Center now calls for Melissa to become a potentially catastrophic Category 4 hurricane with 145 MPH winds in the Caribbean.

MELISSA LIKELY BECOMES A MAJOR ISSUE
We talked about it this morning, and I'll reiterate. I think the NHC is too conservative with their out of the gate forecasts 9 times out of 10. EARLY this morning they had this thing topping out as a Cat 1, then Cat 2, now Cat 3. I think the potential for Melissa exceeds Cat 3.

This storm will move SLOWLY to the west churning over bath water. There's really no place for it to go in a hurry so it's likely to intensify rapidly and become a high-end storm by this weekend. Concerned about Jamaica, the western part of the DR and the eastern side of the Bahamas.

If you're heading down to ANY of those locations over the next 5 days you will want to be VERY in-tune with the forecast.

Please remember. As of May 7, 2025 (in 2 days). You will need either real ID or a passport or passport card to flight domestic and enter federal buildings (example…jury duty…which I have this month). Please make sure you take action now if you plan to fly soon.
