I said you DON’T need a MagicBand on a Disney Cruise… but after 7 nights on the Disney Destiny, I might have changed my mind! 😂🚢

A follower shared a great money-saving tip about finding discounted MagicBands at Disney Character Warehouse locations, and I wanted to give them a shoutout!

But here’s my biggest takeaway after using my MagicBand+ for seven nights: I LOVED the convenience!

From opening my stateroom door to making purchases, grabbing coffee, and getting on and off the ship, I used it constantly!

Plus, did you know MagicBands light up and interact during certain Disney Cruise Line dinners and shows? ✨

Do I think they’re a must-have? Not necessarily. But would I use one again? ABSOLUTELY!

Well, THIS wasn’t on our Disney Cruise itinerary! 🚢🎶

We were enjoying our day at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point aboard the Disney Destiny when we got a surprise we never saw coming!

The Disney Treasure made an unexpected stop at Lookout Cay, and suddenly we were treated to an EPIC Disney Cruise Line horn battle between two incredible ships!

I’ve sailed with Disney Cruise Line more than a dozen times, and moments like this never get old! ❤️

Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina | Pre-Disney Cruise Hotel 🚢

One of the questions I get from families planning a Disney Cruise is where they should stay the night before sailing.

This time, I decided to try somewhere new!

We chose the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina for our pre-cruise stay, and one of the biggest reasons was the option to arrange Disney Cruise Line transportation to Port Everglades.

I hadn’t stayed at this property before, and as a travel advisor, I love having the opportunity to experience different hotels firsthand.

When choosing a pre-cruise hotel, there are several things to consider, including location, transportation options, and what works best for your family’s travel plans.

And those are exactly the things I consider when helping my clients plan their Disney Cruise vacations!

I’m curious: When you’re staying somewhere before a cruise, are you looking for a hotel you’ll love spending time at, or is convenience your number one priority?

Busy parents, I know your schedules are already packed with work, school, sports, and approximately 47 other things. 😂

And now you’re supposed to figure out which Disney Cruise ship to book, where to sail, and when to go?

Here’s my advice after nearly 10 years of helping families plan vacations: Start with your dates! 📅

That’s exactly how we chose our Disney Destiny cruise. We knew when we could travel, and that helped narrow down our options.

Disney Cruise Line has so many incredible ships and itineraries, but not every ship sails from every port or on every date.

Sometimes getting started is as simple as opening your calendar!
